Button Song Behind the Scenes 2-25-11

Today sis and I went over to our good friend Kyle's house (he's also sis' boyfriend) to shoot the first scene for my animation. There were many technical issues happening, most horribly the battery completely dying on the camera. Oh no! But we learned more about the plan of attack and we'll probably rock it next time we tackle it. Here are some of the Behind the Scene shots we took today.

Week 7 Adv Figure Drawing

Yesterday was Adv Figure Drawing for Animation. There were some of my favorite drawings from class. The first four are gestures and the second two are more portrait style.

Doodles 2-21-11

I just finished watching the first season of Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt. If you haven't heard of it, it's pretty dirty. I have some mixed feelings. I feel there are definitely some shortcuts made in the show but at the same time, those shortcuts are probably made so that some sequences can have some pretty sweet animation. I also like when the Ghosts blow up. Most of the drawings are me trying to figure out the style because I think that it's interesting.

Experimental Animation Part 1

Today I did the opening titles sequence for my experimental animation. My sister, Nicole Worthington, did the camera operating because her Canon Rebel XSi is fancy and I didn't want to run the risk of ruining it or whatever.

The first picture was during set up. I was getting the box ready for the shot and the buttons were all over the table. While sis was getting the camera ready she took the picture. It's kinda fun.

The second picture is the establishing shot of the box. The sequence after pretty much speaks for itself. I might have to re-shoot this depending on how much gets cut off because of the change in aspect ratio. Hopefully it will all work out though.
